THE DOCTRINE AND LIFE SYMPOSIUM is an annual gathering to consider the "Divine Dance" between Orthodoxy and Orthopraxy. Hosted by Christ Covenant Church and featuring leading voices in the running conversation between the Church and Culture, the Symposium offers a variety of presentation formats to engage participants uniquely and help them shape their own views and voice.


KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:

Dr. Carl Trueman is a theologian and historian. He teaches Biblical and Religious Studies at Grove City College and speaks at conferences around the world. He is the author of numerous books, including the best-seller Rise of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism, and the Road to Sexual Revolution. He podcasts for The Mortification of Spin and is a regular contributor to First Things and other journals of note.

Dr. Jeffrey Bilbro is a professor of English at Grove City College. He has authored a variety of books, including the critically acclaimed Reading the Times: A Literary and Theological Inquiry into the News. He is an editor at Front Porch Republic and contributor to Liberating Arts, and has written widely on Wendell Berry, Henry David Thoreau, and the challenges of consumerism to Christian worldview.
